NEW HEADSPACE CENTER
LAYERRING, 2023
Studio Project - New center for Headscpace
Presentation Video
Description
This project design seeks to revitalize historical connections by embracing a more inclusive and open approach. It envisions a space that serves as a bridge for the youth (aged 15 to 24) to engage with the global community and as a serene haven for wellness getaways at HEADSPACE. Taking inspiration from the yarn spool rack, a significant relic of the original location, the design seamlessly blends the building's original brickwork and site layout, uniting elements from the past and present.
The final visualization portrays the building from the viewpoint of a passerby, intending for it to be visually captivating yet with a welcoming and all-encompassing ambiance. This transformation aims to resurrect the bond factory's essence, serving as a conduit for young Australians to connect with the broader world and as a therapeutic avenue for health retreats.

My responsibilities included task delegation, design feedback, and close collaboration with the client. This project allowed me to blend traditional influences with innovative design in a unique setting.
